Setting up a Risk Matrix

All Air Maestro site come with a default Organisational Risk Matrix, which can be used as a reference for determining risk levels within the safety module.

  1. Navigate to Site Settings > Risk Matrix to access this risk matrix setup area.

  2. Along the top of the setup page is a tab strip, if you click the “+” this will create an additional risk matrix for your site.

  3. If you click “Edit” in the box labelled “Risk Matrix Type Options” you are able to change the name of the risk matrix, x-axis label (and short name) and y-axis label (and short name). Note: You are also able to enable and disable the risk matrix via the checkbox.

    X-Axis label (Likelihood)

  4. To add an x-axis label entry in the table, click on the “Add” button.

  5. A text box for Risk likelihood, Identifier and description will appear. Within this entry you are also able to disable the entry.


    Y-Axis label (Consequence)

  6. To add an y-axis label entry in the table, click on the “Add” button.

  7. A text box for Risk consequence, Identifier and description will appear. Within this entry you are also able to disable the entry.

  8. To add a risk to the risk matrix click on the “Add” button in the table.

  9. A text box will appear allowing you to enter a risk index and description. Additionally, you will be able to select a risk colour and risk weight.

  10. Click on the pencil for each available y-axis entry to customise the risk matrix.

  11. A drop-down list containing all the entered risks will appear for each x-axis entry you have entered into that table in step 4.
