Simplified External Calendar

It has been requested by some customers to customise the output of the calendar link and also have the ability to share the calendar link amongst family members so they too can subscribe to it.

As a result, Avinet has created a new calendar link which is totally separate from the existing calendar link and will require a new access level to view it. Once the new access level is given, a user will see a Simplified External Calendar section on the personnel schedule page similar to the others. Also, the link on the home page scheduler will be there if the user have this access level.

This calendar link will be compliant with and synchronize with external calendars such as iCal, Google, Outlook (much as the current calendar link is).
