Maintenance Forecast

Maintenance Forecast consider completed and scheduled flights, as well as maintenance events (completed/planned). These entries are tied up to a counter that update itself with each entry (the aircraft should require an initial brought forward entry to start the counter).

Entries appeared in the Maintenance Forecast are populated through,

  • maintenance event (scheduled/unscheduled),

  • flight records, and

  • scheduled tasks.

Amongst above options, only scheduled tasks have the capability of Timezone allocation.

If timezones are specified when the tasks are created the entry would appear in the forecast with a blue coloured clock-face, red coloured if not specified.

However, clock-face appear infront of flight records and maintenance events related entries always appear red.

When you hover over the clock faces, following tooltips appear,

  • Red coloured clock-face – No timezone information, actual time may vary

  • Blue coloured clock-face – Timezone information present

NOTE: You might find some Maintenance Forecast popups have entries without any clock-faces. If there are no tasks scheduled for that particular aircraft registration as future entries, then the clock-faces would not appear to simplify the display (without scheduled tasks the log would contain only flight records and maintenance events related entries, which by default do not have timezones attached). However, if you select ‘Include past scheduled tasks’ icon, all entries appear with clock-faces.
