When create recency item(s), users can select ‘Renewal Window’ option to enable users to conduct and validate the recency items before expiry date so that still the new expiry date will relies on the old expiry date rather than the date conducted. However, if ‘Months’ option is selected, users will see two new radio buttons to select whether the renewal period should calculate ‘To the day’ or by ‘Calendar Month’.
Please refer below example to understand the two options.
Assume below scenario, where renewal window is set as 3 months.
If the ‘Calendar Month’ option is selected, the new renew window should start from 1st of April (Months of April, May, June),
However, if the ‘To The Day’ option is selected the renew period starts from 30th of March (30th April, 30th May, 30th June).
