The new Offline Documents module has a new feature called ‘favourite documents’.

A document in the traditional app will only be visible in the PWA Offline Document Library if it is made a favourite document.

A document can be made favourite via two methods:

  1. Favourites made by self - folders and documents can be made favourite by the user and, as the method suggests, are only visible for themselves. Any documents that are important for the user can be listed as examples for this type.

    1. Click on the heart icon in the respective row to make the entire folder or document favourite for you. (Once selected, the background of the heart icon will changed into Black).

      Alternatively,

  2. Mandatory favourites - These documents were made favourite by any person who have ‘Write’ access to the folder. If you want your users to mandatory store a documents in their PWA, you can make a document ‘Mandatory favourite’.

    1. Similar like above (step b and c), in the ‘Edit Folder’ window, select the relevant base(s)/ department(s) or personnel from ‘Make mandatory for users’ personnel picker and click ‘Update’.

Note: If you make a folder/ document mandatory favourite for a base or/ and a department , if you create a new personal under the selected base or/ and department, he/ she will also inherited the same document in his/ her offline document library. Manual assignment is not required.
