Shift Prioritisation in Timesheets.

A new setting is introduced under ‘Roster’ module to select which shift code should be prioritized in the ‘Shift Type’ custom field (in the Timesheet edit mode) when there are more than one rostered shift codes assigned for a user.

Users can select two options.

  • Duty Start Time - If this option is selected, in the timesheet edit mode, the shift code which has the earliest 'start duty time’ will be auto-selected in the ‘Shift Type’ custom field.

  • Shift Type Categories: Duty, Standby, Leave - If this option is selected, and the user is rostered with Duty, Standby, Leave shift codes, then the shift code of ‘Duty’ will be auto-selected in the ‘Shift Type’ custom field (as per the order of Duty, Standby, Leave). The shift code which has the earliest start duty time is not prioritized in this option.
